Repurposing a former furniture store, M@M opened in 2018 as the first personal art museum produced by Yasumasa Morimura, a contemporary artist born and based in Osaka. With the concept of “widely = for a diverse range of people,” “deeply = to make new discoveries,” and “long = to want to visit again and again,” the museum aims to become a new center for art and culture in Kitakagaya.
